1000+ Hours taught
After graduating in London, Jessica joined the Harris federation where she was quickly recognised as an 'outstanding' teacher. As well as leading the Economics department in her sixth-form school, she often tutors students on weekends in groups of 4-6.
Her approach to teaching is discussion based and stems from her belief that if students can confidently speak about their subject, they will inevitably have fewer problems when it comes to writing about it too. Jessica is well known amongst her clients for her weird questioning techniques. To her, every answer is a step in the right direction and her students appreciate the patience and care she puts into each and every session.
As a former learning coordinator, Jessica appreciates that no two students are the same. She caters her group sessions in a way that keeps everyone engaged, building their confidence every week.
